They feed us again (my goodness they eat a lot on planes, I assume to quell people’s nervousness) and after breakfast we are almost there. As the plane comes in for a landing I say a silent prayer, flying across the ocean is no joke, nine hours and nothing but water below, and now that we made it to this side we only have the problem now of making it back.

I am up early for the trip to the airport, my wife and daughters are driving me and seeing me off. Did not sleep worth a damn last night and I am hoping that this check-in thing will not be a hassle since I have not been on a plane in a few years. Get to the airport and I am pleasantly surprised the place is jam-packed. I get on the wrong line and waste almost ten minutes there before being told to change. I am not running late, but things are running slow and that worries me.
